Hybrid Audio Technologies-equipped vehicles “one-two” sweep two classes, “one-two-three sweep” one class, and wins and placements in others at the International Auto Sound Challenge Association North American Finals, West Coast Championships.
On September 22nd, 2012, at the International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) West Coast Championships, Hybrid Audio Technologies once again proved the finest-sounding vehicles by organized car audio competition standard are those using Hybrid Audio Technologies products. The results notably included two “one – two sweeps” and one “one – two – three” sweep of classes by competitors using Hybrid Audio Technologies products as their sole front-stage speaker brand. A sweep of the first and second place spots in the Rookie class by competitors using Hybrid Audio Technologies products was earned by Ben Maxwell (1st place), and Diana Snapp (2nd place). A sweep of the first and second place spots in the Amateur class by competitors using Hybrid Audio Technologies products was earned by Jeremy Weaver (1st place), and Darren Binkley (2nd place IASCA & 1st place MECA). And a sweep of the first, second, and third place spots in the Pro class by competitors using Hybrid Audio Technologies products was earned by Scott Welch (1st place), Drew Snapp (2nd place), and Jim Becker (3rd place).

Hybrid Audio Technologies dealers Audio Xperts of Vacaville CA (owner: Vince Miranda) and Audio NW of Lacey WA (owner: Jesse Peterson) were present to compete and lend assistance for the competition vehicles they had built. Team Audio Xperts did extremely well at the event, posting two first-place finishes and a third place finish in IASCA competition and a first place finish in MECA competition at the same event, while Team Audio NW’s competitor Jason Glass scored a second place finish in his class.
“It was a great event, and incredibly promising for the future of organized competition to see the enthusiasm by competitors. All vehicles present were extremely strong, and the level of competition was high. I am ecstatic on how cars equipped with Hybrid Audio products fared in competition, further reinforcing our position as the speaker brand of choice for car audio competitors all around the world,” noted Scott Buwalda, founder and CEO of Hybrid Audio Technologies.
